Dissertation is devoted to definition, scientific substantiation and system analysis of the notion and specificity of the international legal regulation of the migration processes as a new normative unit in a system of the contemporary international law and EU legislation. Characteristics of the historical and contemporary development of the legal regulation of the migration processes at the Universal and European levels are generalized while revealing the peculiarities of the Ukrainian migration law adaptation to the international and European legal standards.
