The purpose of research - to develop the methods of surfaces reference to curvature lines applied to research of shells. Methods of researches - use the synthetic method of surfaces theory, analytical and differential analysis methods. Practical value - the developed methods of form variation allow to solve problems of designing and optimization of the shells form. Scientific novelty - new ways of surfaces reference to the curvature lines and new control facilities the form are developed; for the first time full classification of Dupin's cyclids is received.
