Essay

Object of research are energy network of city of Kiev as complex socio-economic, territorial - technological objects. The basic purpose of research - to develop theoretic-methodical bases of creation and cartographical maintenance of geoinformation system of the large power association on an example joint-stock company "Kievenergo". The technical, cartographical, statistical, expert and grapho-analytical methods with application of modern computer technologies and telecommunication networks were used. The theoretical-methodical bases of construction of a geographical-information database, methods and receptions of its practical realization with the help of telecommunication networks and geoinformation technologies, can be used for definition of administrative principles and rules in practice of operation of separate engineering networks of other cities of Ukraine. Behind materials of the dissertation the departmental instructions are made which are used in department of perspective development joint-stock company "Kievenergo" (" the Instruction on job with an electronic map of electrical and thermal networks " etc.) Is extended fundamental rules about potential opportunities GIS concerning management of the large territorial - technological objects. The properties GIS as information model are detailed which displays functionalities of the company "Kievenergo". The rules about creation of a graphic database as electronic of the cartographical images of the engineering documents necessary for formation of a database GIS of the engineering communications are developed. The necessity of introduction GIS as base integrated system for management of operation of the underground engineering communications of is proved. Kiev; the technical requirements to automatic control of power equipment joint-stock company "Kievenergo" are determined on the basis of specialized GIS. Is developed and the working model of the integrated information system of a cartographical database of engineering networks of the large city isrealized. The system of conditional cartographical marks for display of the underground engineering communications on electronic maps is created. GIS of power networks is completely entered and works in department of perspective development joint-stock company "Kievenergo". Area of use - cartography and geocomputer science.
