Pisna R. Theoretical and methodological foundations for creating thematic interactive maps (on the example of the critical infrastructure of Kyiv city)

The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the creation of a new type of cartographic works – thematic interactive maps of territories of different regional levels (on the example of the critical infrastructure of Kyiv city). The foreign and national experience of their creation is analyzed, their possible types, types and place in the system of cartographic works are determined. The conceptual device was developed, a progressive methodology is chosen, which is characterized by effective scientific approaches, principles and their interaction. The list of methods of cartographic image, which used on interactive maps are improved. The types and features of presentation of their legends are determined. The result of the work on the basis of the author's algorithm was a series of interactive thematic maps of the critical infrastructure of Kyiv city, obtained through geoinformation mapping, which includes inventory and evaluation maps of the research object.
