Essay

This study shows methodological basis for effective formation of biological concepts in schoolchildren of the 6 – 9 Forms. We have substantiated conceptual framework and developed methods reflecting biological concepts formation in different phases of sensible (sensation, perception, conception) and logical stages of cognition. We have also developed methods of treatment of biological concepts, typology of educational tasks, according to four levels of biological concepts formation (initial, average, satisfactory, high). We give scientific approaches to designing of school-books designated for mastering of biological terms and notions by the 6 – 9 forms school children, and developed their substance and methodological advices for teachers concerning organisation of work with them.
