Essay

The author shows that becoming of high-grade perception of poetic form by adolescents includes mastering such abilities: a) to correlate the form of the text to its contents and plan; b) to perceive adequately connotative semantics of the poetic form; c) to catch invariant features of individual poetic style of various authors. There have been established the criteria of pupils' successful percepting of the poetic form: a) the certain integrity and completeness of form perception; b) ability to allocate separate images which pupils like most of all; c) ability to perceive thin nuances in the description of the nature, events, feelings and ideas of the author, his/her attitude to the represented contents. The program "Poetics" has been worked out and successfully tested at the educational process. This program provides pupils' acquaintance with the system of expressive means of fiction and, first of all, of poetry, and also formation at them propensity to work with this system and corresponding ways ofaction. It has been shown that application of the given program causes qualitative positive changes in perception of poetry by adolescents. These changes are in the fact that more measures of a poetic text become important for pupils and they correlate better the form of poetic product to its plan and contents.
