3. The dissertation analyses the peculiarities of information presentation in the Internet as the newest mass media using the materials of the internet-published Written Ministerial Statements of the House of Commons. The work develops the neorhetoric approach to the discourse-analysis, which restores the semantic and pragmatic strategies/tactics of the discourse production. This approach enables us to identify certain lexical, lexical-syntactic and syntactic means in each particular language, used in different strategies/tactics of building up the discourse.
