The object of investigation: process of housing functioning. The aim of investigation: developing theoretical, methodical and practical proposals to improve organization-economic mechanism of housing maintenance, providing and improving quality of population living conditions in a region. The methods of investigation: structure-logic analysis and synthesis, generalization, correlation-regression analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, expert review, rank correlation. Specified: priority directions of organization-economic providing of a housing sphere development. Developed: economic-mathematical apparatus of evaluating introducing organization–economic mechanism of a region’s housing maintenance. Introduced: directions of financial providing housing sphere development and mechanisms of their evaluation in the process of work of municipal economy in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Field of implementation: legislative and executive bodies of power, municipal economy enterprises and institutions of highereducation.
