Object: poetonymogenesis as the factor of the poetonym semantic and figurative properties development and composition. Purpose: research of poetonymogenesis as onym vocabulary functioning process in the poetic text. Methods of research: component, comparatively contrastive, contextual, psycholinguistic interpretation of "translator's handwriting". The results can be used in the artistic translation theory and practice, in lexicography of "connotated" onyms of "poetonymized" origin.
