Essay

This thesis is devoted to theoretical-experimental research of forming the senior pupils' abilities to analyse landscape in prose works of different artistic systems at the lessons of Ukrainian literature. The types of analytical skills and stages of work are defined in this work, corresponding tasks are worked out, criteria and the levels of forming such skills are grounded, psychologic-teaching and methodical conditions of forming of corresponding skills are defined. Taking into account the peculiarities of perception of an artistic image of nature by the senior pupils, methodical model of the work over the text is worked out. This model foresees the practical using by senior pupils their knowledge of landscape as theoretical-literary concept and specific peculiarities of it in works of different art systems; progressive fulfillment of different tasks of a determined type that promotes forming of conscious attitude of the pupils to the landscape in the plot of the work, their creative abilities, independence, crytical thinking; broading the range of different types of skills in the process of analysing of the works with a new genre, composition, language, style, artistic thinking. Suggested methodical model promotes deepening of literary knowledge of the pupils about the component elements in prose works; forms national consciousness, aesthetic tastes, stimulates literary development of the senior pupils.
