Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of the folk medicine of Ukrainians of Polissya, which has one of the main places at the system of ethnic culture. The folk medicine presents the soicial-sanitary norms, everyday culture, psychological ains, and contacts. The presents-dey condition and regional specificity of folk medicine are anaiyzed on the basis of of ethnographic exeditions materials. The methods of prophylaxis and medicial treatment, ideas about illness and its reasons are described during aii the thesis. Such problems like the influense of the science medicine on of folk scine medicine on the folk one of the region, its dependence on the level of sovial, economical and historical development of society are showed here.
