On the basis of the analysis of conceptual and ideological principles of Ukrainian TV-channels functioning the impact of TV on the development of youth spirituality is analyzed; topic range of TV programmes which directly or indirectly influence national and spiritual formation of a young personality is illuminated; positive and negative factors of TV influence on the formation of spiritual ideals of young people are determined; possibilities for elaboration of moral and psychological immunity to potentially negative influence of TV on youth are characterized; ways of improving linguistic, intellectual, national, and civil, moral and spiritual level, outlook of TV employees, which constitutes a fundamental of their professionalism, are determined.
