Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the examination of information-technological and creative activities of national and foreign news agencies. Having analyzed steps of development of leading world agencies, the author points out peculiarities of national news agencies' rise and their prospects of development in current informational space. Analyzing predecessors' scientific research, historical conditions of rise of world and national agency journalism and current state of news agencies' development, the author had found prospective ways of further research of their activities and main factors of work effectiveness' increase of news agencies.
