Shamne A. Psychological new formations as a problem of age psychology

This dissertation is an attempt of all-round and complex study of the problem of new formations of psychological development. The author has created a many-sided theoretical model of this phenomenon on the basis of theoretical and methodological research of functional-and-genetic, procedural-and-genetic, structural-and-content characteristics of that phenomenon. The author has investigated also how new formations as functional organs of development influence the reorganization of structures (forms of organization) of psychological development in the ontogenesis. The essence and content of the concept of new formations are determined. A "map" of new formations of all periods of childhood has been created. Using the theoretical model of the phenomenon of a new formation at the process of experimental research (devoted to new formations of self-consciousness and of value-and-motivational sphere in teenagers and youth) has shown that model to be heuristic? thus the hypothesis of research has been confirmed.
