Polshina O. The psychosemantic peculiarities of perception the Ukrainian ornamental symbolism by students.

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the psychosemantic perception of Ukrainian ornamental symbolism over the forming the semantic fields of some ornamental motives. The semantic areas for 14 ornamental symbols were constructed and compared with the described ones in ethnographical literature. These facts confirm C.G. Yung's idea about archetypical traditional items of culture and way of life. It was revealed as conformity between personal peculiarities and his preference of graphic ornamental forms as gender difference in perception of ornamental symbols. The main results of the work can be used as for subsequent psychological study of the items of mankind's material culture as for psychological and psychotherapeutic practice.
