Mel'nychenko M. Substantiation of monitoring system for study of environment influence on health of the large industrial city population

Dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation and development of monitoring system for study of environment influence on health of the large industrial city population and package of measures for healthy environment provision, decrease of ecologic factors negative influence on health. It was discovered that under conditions urbanization and rapid technologic development there is observed very fast increase of environment contamination. The content of hazardous admixtures in atmospheric air of the city, soil, water tens of times exceeds limits of permissible concentrations. There were revealed tendencies to worsening of city population health. There were determined differences in morbidity indices and health self-assessment of population inhabiting territories with different level of environment contamination. There were proved existence of correlative connection between environment contamination and population morbidity indices. There was calculated environment contamination forecast by mainatmospheric air contaminators for medium and remote prospects. There was substantiated monitoring system for study of environment influence on health of the large industrial city population and its model. There was developed system of measures, directed at environment sanitation and health care of the city inhabitants, which is being realized within the "Ecology" program scope on a comprehensive inter-branch basis.
