The thesis for candidate degree of psychology on speciality 19.00.06 - legal psychology. - National University of Internal Affairs. - Kharkiv, 2005. The problem of dependence of development level of social perception on person's individual-psychological features, training and professional activity and communication is being solved. Results of research of features of examinees' nonverbal behaviour testified their dependence on their individual-psychological qualities, on the contest of training and professional activity and communication. On the basis of the system theoretical analysis of process of social perception its structurally functional model that displayed its regulatory function and functional relations with others cognitive and regulatory subsystems of the person in professional communication of internal affairs officer was designed. The results of the research work give the basis to the preliminary forecast of person's professionally important qualities necessary for formation of adequate perception of people, and show prospects of correction of a low-level social-perceptive regulation of process of professional communication internal affairs officer. There is a justification of the necessity of realization of a social-psychological training during in-service training of internal-affairs officers which should be directed both to the development of social-perceptive qualities of the person of operational internal affairs officer, and to the correction of negative stereotypes of perception of other people.
