An object of the investigation is a process of maintenance and raising physical and mental capacity of students in higher educational establishments; an aim of the investigation is scientific substantiation of rational using methods, means and forms of physical training for raising physical and mental capacity of students with a low level of physical preparatio; there were experimentally defined an intercommunication of mental and physical capacity with indices of motive activity and physical preparation of students in experimental group; there were offered and experimentally substantiated organization and methods of using means of physical training with the purpose of raising physical and mental capacity.
