Pyvovar A. Joint development of physical and cognitive abilities of 5- and 6-year-old children in the process of physical education

The author of the dissertation is the first: to offer scientific data on the interrelation and interaction of the components of the motor and cognitive abilities of 5- and 6-year-old children as a holistic dynamic system that has a definite structure and age features of development; to establish experimentally the contents of the models of the joint development of physical and cognitive abilities of senior preschool children in the process of physical education; to determine the pedagogical conditions for the application of the methods of the joint development of physical and cognitive abilities of 5- and 6-year-old children, namely: orientation of pedagogical actions to the development of physical abilities according to the sensitive periods; to specify the ways of the joint development of physical and cognitive abilities that include motor tasks and those oriented to the activation of the components of the cognitive abilities; to define the components of the physical tension of the joint development of the physical and cognitive abilities.
