Object of the study: The state of health of teen-age girls aged 15-17 after artificial abortion. Purpose of the study: To determine the characteristics of clinical-humoral and mental state of teen-age girls after artificial abortion, to work out the technique for restoration of menstrual function after artificial abortion with the use of a complex consisting of oral contraceptives, homeopathic drugs and psychotherapy. Methods of the study: Analytical, clinical, biochemical, radioimmune, ultrasound, psychological and statistical methods of investigation. Practical significance: The established correlation between the changes in the concentration of reproductive hormones after artificial abortion in teen-agers with an impaired menstrual function requires rehabilitation and allows to use combination oral contraceptives from the first day after the abortion as a part of the rehabilitation complex. The patients, who cannot be administered COC, homeopathy is recommended (Dismenorm) for normalizing the menstrual function after the artificial abortion. Ultrasound study is the method of diagnosis of the state of the reproductive system and can be used for more accurate diagnosis of the menstrual function impairment after the artificial abortion. A course of psychoprophylaxis, which should be included to the general complex of treatment and prevention of long-term complications of abortion in the teen-agers was worked out. Novelty of the obtained results: For the first time, the study of psychoemotional and psychophysical state of teen-age girls after artificial abortion was studied. A complex of psychoprophylaxis aimed at adaptation of the teen-agers in the family and society was worked out. For the first time, the correlation between the abortion and the dynamics of hormonal homeostasis was determined/ For the first time, monophase contraceptive with an androgen effect Diane-35 and three-phase contraceptive Tri-regol were used to restore menstrual function and prevent unplanned pregnancy after the abortion. Highefficacy of monophase contraceptives vs tree-phase in restoration of menstrual function and prevention of late post-abortion complications was proven. For the first time, homeopathic drug Dismenorm was used to prevent post-abortion complications. The obtained data allowed to prove high efficacy of MCOC with an anti-androgen effect after artificial abortion in teen-agers with the history of menstrual function impairment and hyperandrogeny. Introduction: The obtained data allowed to work out an informa-tion letter "Complex approach to rehabilitation of menstrual func-tion in teen-age girls after artificial abortion". The Ideas and rec-ommendations of the dissertation are used in the lectures for pedi-atric gynecologists at Kharkiv Medical Academy for Postgraduate Training and were introduced to the work of gynecology depart-ment of city clinical hospital No. 3 (Lugansk), Sverdlovsk Central District Hospital (Lugansk region), Krasnodon Children's Hospital (Lugansk region), Alchevsk Children's Hospital (Lugansk region), Stakhanov City Children's Hospital (Lugansk region), Center for Family Planning (Lugansk).
