Essay

Object: the soybean varieties-samples and hybrids. Aim: the studying of existent and creation of new initial material soybean varieties for breeding of human food suitable for cultivation in forest-steepe and steepe zones of Ukraine. Novelty: for the first time in forest-steepe and steepe zones the collection of different soybean material for breeding for human food was studied. Results: the variability of seed productivity elements was ascertained; the possibility of creation of soybean forms with neutral reaction genotype - environment was proved and classification of samples of reaction on different ecological-geographical conditions was proposed; the genetic variability of soybean samples of biochemical structure and technological properties of seeds qualities were studied; the models of soybean variety for human food suitable for cultivation in forest-steepe and steepe zones were grounded; soybean hybrid material with different vegetation period for using in future selection was founded. Application stage: Soybean variety Ksenya was created with co-authors. Application area: scientific establishments of UAAS and AIC of Ukraine.
