On the basis of theoretical and experimental study the summary is made and a new solution for scientific and technical problem of the development of resource saving technologies for manufacturing efficient cylinder and profile winding screw blanks for "winding body" parts formed from straight and profile strips by winding on rim. Suggested mathematic model describes the process of blank forming from the rib profile, provides the winding rigidity with minimum energy waste.
