Essay

For the first time in Ukrainian science a complex research on Ukrainian emigratory press in France (32 periodicals) in the between-war period was done. General aspects of development, typical features of publication, specialties of the architectonics, style, problems of the thematic aspects were defined in the dissertation. The role of the press in the preserving of patriotic feelings of Ukrainians was shown as well as the effectiveness of its influence on the consciousness and self-consciousness of the readers, ability to form the public opinion, to consolidate and organize people.
