Object – professional pedagogical training of students in terms of high school. Aim – to develop and scientifically substantiate an experimental model of training students for national education of primary schoolers, to define pedagogical conditions of its operating at high pedagogical school. Theoretical results and novelty - the author is the first to substantiate interaction and interdependence of such notions as «national education», «civil education», «patriotic education», as well as principles and theoretical bases of building the model of training future teachers of primary school for national education of pupils; to develop criteria and indices, ascertain and describe the levels of students’ readiness for national education of junior schoolchildren; to specify the essence of such notions as «training students for national education of primary schoolers», «readiness of students to national education».
