Essay

The thesis is devoted to the influence of cryoprotectors: glycerol (Gl), DMSO and 1,2-propane diol (1,2-PD); low temperatures and ozone on stability of proteins and lipid bilayer as well as on the activity of lipid peroxidation (LPO) processes in a rat liver microsomal membranes. It has been found that there are changes in conformation of proteins of microsomal membranes, microenvironment of proteins, an increase in heterogeneity of their structure in the presence of the investigated cryoprotectors. It has been shown that LPO in microsomal membranes increases with addition of DMSO, 1,2-PD, Gl of 30-40% (w/w) and decreases after a low-temperature influence with addition of Gl of 10-15% (w/w). It has been shown that ozone of 0,08-3,8 mg/l doses affects the structural state of proteins and lipid bilayer of microsomal membranes. An increase in the dose of ozone results in a decrease in thermostability of microsomal proteins and ncrease in activity of LPO in microsomal membranes.
