Dmitrenko A. The principles of functional and planning organization of small rural settlements (on example of North-East region of Ukraine)

The objects are small rural settlements of North-East region of Ukraine (Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv regions). The aims are to define the principles of functional and planning organization of small rural settlements and to develope propositions about its preservation and regeneration in modern social, economic and demographic conditions. Methods of research are statistical and graphoanalitical ones, theoretical analysis and synthesis. The new approach lies in developing and practical applying of the principles of functional and territorial organization of rural settlement network and fuctional and planning organization of small rural settlements, and developing the perspective types of its functional specialisation in modern social, economic and demographic conditions. The results are the propositions about improvement of functional and planning structure of small rural settlements of defined in research specialisations. Results of the research are introduced in the science, designe groundworks and educational process. Sphere of use is planning of rural settlements, territorial planning.
