Topal S. Principles and methods of humanizing the living environment of historical cities of Ukraine Black Sea region on the example of Odessa

Dissertation for obtaining a scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences in a speciality 05.23.20 - Urban planning and territorial planning. – Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2021. In dissertation the analysis of causes and scales of changes, transformation of country territories structure for development a strategy of creating conditions for a fruitful and full development of living environment has been carried out. Determination of planning and structural peculiarities of the formation residential development zones, the main factors influencing their formation in new social conditions revealed tendencies for their further improvement, taking into account the principles of humanization and regularities of sustainable urban development. As a result of study the problem of humanization the living environment, the structure of information provision of urban development activities in this area was developed. It was established that principles of micro-zoning territory according to socio-demographic criteria as an anthor-oriented organization of the living environment are consistent to fundamental properties and needs of people – material, spiritual and economic-household, as well as anthropometric parameters, defining models of spatial behavior of population. On the basis of the analysis of functional and planning structure of Odesa the specificity of the formation of the living environment in different urban conditions and typological characteristics of the environment have been identified. The analysis of state and determination of the problems of humanization of the living environment taking into account typological features of the objects and systematization of modern scientific, theoretical and applied methods contributed to development of recommendations for reconstruction of residential areas of Ukrainian cities with a view to their further development.
