The thesis is devoted to the development of insuring methods of lead screw helical surface of ball screws high productive defectless thread grinding process computer diagnostics and control system. Application of heat conductivity 1D differential equation for rough thread grinding by the aid of influence analysis of space coordinates number on the semiround profile thread grinding temperature is grounded. Thermal flow density on the grinding wheel theoretically and experimentally is studied. It is proposed to correct a temperature field mathematical model for technological system diagnostics and control of the process. The correction is performed at the defect arise moment. Process control method is working out to determined defectless high productive thread grinding for off-line and on-line mode. Functioning algorithms as well as hardware and software of the system are created. Work results are introducted into machine manufacturing industry.
