Essay

Subjects of the research are processes of printing and finishing of textile materials. The object of the research is carboxymethylated starch based textile-auxiliary materials assortment expansion by way of scientific grounding of technology of those materials application in textiles printing and finishing for production of competitive textile goods. Research methods are: X-ray diffraction method, thermochemical method, IR-spectrosopy and analytical methods, viscosemetrical method, spectrophotographical method for dye and thickener interaction evaluation as well as coloring intenisty and color characteristics evaluation. Physical-chemical laws of synthesis of domestic carboxymethylated starch with stable properties have been determined for the first time. It is established, that the carboxymethylation proceeds inside crystal amylose and the degree of replacement depends on amylose quantity. For the first time it is offered to apply carbamide as an anticoagulant for carboxymethylated starch concentratedsolutions. It is defined, that Na-KMK application gives necessary properties to dyes and also it allows to improve color characteristics and intensity of coloring.
