Expressions for defining dynamic and static quantity of warp threads tension when setting up line changes at the stroke moment have been obtained. It has been established that the static component of warp threads tension exceeds the dynamic one by more than 5.3 times. On the basis of obtained mathematical model of rotor compensator of warp threads advance and tension as well as expression of average quantity of warp threads length change in the area of shedding at clean and unclean shed the efficiency functions for design of rotory compensators at clean and unclean shed have been developed. It takes place when the quantity of warp threads tension at shedding is similar to the setting-up of the visual tension.
