The dissertation provides the complex analysis of different aspects of the US policy towards the resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict, which is based on the studying of American political science works. The author frames the main trends of the US political thought, investigates to which extent academic research affects the conceptual evolution of the US political line toward the problem mentioned above. The dissertation examines American political scientists' approaches toward the relations between Washington and main participants of the Arab-Israeli conflict, investigates the role of the multilateral diplomacy in American concepts and strategy of conflict resolution in the Middle East. The thesis indicates the place of the Arab-Israeli peace process in the foreign policy concepts and doctrines of G. Bush-senior and B. Clinton administrations.
