Essay

Dissertation contains the results of theoretical-experimental research of the supervision of senior pupils' self education in the subsidiary school. The supervision of the senior pupils' self-education is carried out on the base of the formation of pupil's capacity for self-education in the process of extracurricular pedagogical work. In the process of investigation the groups of actions, methods and ways of self -education were classified. It was determined, that the capacity for self-education is based on the definite development of the depth, salience of "I-Gestalt" of pupils, their striving for acquiring positive personal traits, knowledge of methods of self-perfection, sufficient level of self-regulation of behavior.
