Essay

In the experiment jn non-narcotired wakeful cats using the methods of extracellular leads of impulse activity and registration of electroencephalogram (EEG) it has been found out that during a relaxed state of the cats a background impulse activity of noradrenergetic neurons of locus coeruleus is connected to the great exlent with alpha-rhythm predominance while serotoninergic neurons of nucleus raphe are in a close connection with beta-rhythm. The obtained results are an evidence of an active participation of aminergetic systems in a formation of individual patern of EEG-potentials. It was revealed that on administration of bemitil leads to a frequency modification of impulse activity of monoaminergetic system which can be reflected in EEG. Besides bemitil administration per os in a dose of 50 mg/kg leads to reorganization of correlational relation between investigated indexes.
