The object of the research is the technical drawing teaching of the students of the 8th –9th form; the dissertation aims to work out and elaborate the didactic conditions for the students’ mental capability activation in teaching drawing lessons; the methods of the investigation are based on the theoretical analysis and synthesis, mathematic and statistic investigation; the dissertation is the first research that works out and substantiates the didactical conditions for activation the students’ mental capability in teaching drawing lessons; this is the novelty of research? the investigation resulted in the working out the methodological recommendations for activating mental capability, the system of graphic tasks assisting in the activation the students’ mental capability; the results of the dissertation are applied in the secondary school; the sphere of the usage is teaching.
