Zadorozhny O. Increasing efficiency oil systems cylinders of ship diesel engines

It was done the analysis of a condition of an investigated problem, as a result of which the basic lacks of existing systems of lubricating cylinders long-stroke diesel engines MAN - B&W are established is executed. The technique of experimental researches on analysis of processes of submission of oil in cylinder liners of marine engines is designed, pursuant to which one the tests in laboratory, and in an operating conditions are conducted. Thus the modern methods of researches including oscillography complex swift-flowing processes, fast track filming and planning of multifactor experiment. The analytical investigations of motion of oil in a delivery line of system are conducted. Such investigations were obtained to the results of the analytical relations for definition of a degree of perfection of a system. The optimum geometry of the channel was determined, that allows to increase of productivity of oil and to improve a condition of the diesel engine. The conducted service tests established, thatthe improvement of process of submission of oil allows to lower on 20-25% the consumption of cylinder oil, in 2-2,5 times to reduces deposits in the cylinder liner and in 1,2-1,5 times wear of parts of the engine, and consequently is an effective direction of increasing the profitability of activity of marine long-stroke engines.
