The thesis is devoted to investigation of theoretical and applied aspects of the municipal property management by means of its market value estimation. The author presents the influence of estimation results on the efficiency of administrative decisions that have been accepted by local authorities of self-administration and concerning the questions of the choice of using forms of property. Opportunities of prevailing application of estimation approaches to municipal property objects have been offered, taking into account the variants of the administrative decision.
