Essay

The object is the functional state of nervous-muscular system at increased thyroid status. The purpose is to give the scientific substantiation of character of influence of various models of hyperthyroid states on energetics of muscular contraction on the basis of studying of external work and parameters of working capacity of a skeletal muscle of experimental animals (rats) in conditions in situ. The methods are ergography, thermometry, the gas analysis. The results are that the regularities of changes of force characteristics and parameters of working capacity of a skeletal muscle during its work with various external loadings at the hyperthyroid states of the different degree of expressiveness have been revealed; it has been shown, that moderate hyperthyroisys and thyrotoxicosys have been accompanied by reduction of size of optimum load for a skeletal muscle and the volume of maximum work; decrease of functionalities of a skeletal muscle at moderate hyperthyroisys, in process of hyperthyroisys' progressing and at thyrotoxicosys has been observed only under condition of muscle's work with medium and large loadings. The novelty is that for the first time not onevalued character of change of force characteristics of a skeletal muscle in a range of small, optimum and large external loadings has been shown at hyperthyroid states and in dynamics of the development of hyperthyroisys; for the first time not onevalued character of change of the common muscle's fatigability with a deepening of hyperthyroisys under condition of muscular work with various external loadings has been shown; for the first time the possibility of positive influence of single-pass superphysiological dozes of L-thyroxine on force characteristics and a degree of synchronization of excitement in a muscle, which have been came to light only at small external loadings, has been shown. The results of researches have been introduced in educational process of Donetsk State Medical University named after M. Gorky and Donetsk national university,in the research work of the laboratory of fundamental researches of Institute of urgent and reparation surgery named after V.K. Gusak АMS Ukraine. Field of knowledge is medicine (normal physiology).
