The educational-training process of skilled basketball-players is a research object on the pre-contest stage of annual cycle of preparation. The novelty of work involve the information which is first got in relation with the features of contention activity of skilled basketball-players. In accordance with the modern requirements of playing activity the structure, orientation and maintenance of training process of skilled basketball-players is developed at the pre-contest stage of preparation. Efficiency of the accented application of facilities of speed-power orientation is well-proved on the level of the special preparedness and competitive activity of skilled basketball-players.
