Terebus O. Publicism of Dmytro Pavlychko: motives, genres, context

The comprehensive analysis of the thematically-ideological and genre-stylistic peculiarities of the writer’s publicism was made, the main tendencies of the development of Pavlychko’s journalism and close relationships with literary and social processes of the XX–XXI centuries and creative work of the writer were determined, the organic connection between the historical events and writers, who represent the literary generation of the 1950–1990 was retraced. Particular attention is given to the problems, described in the articles and speechs of D. Pavlychko, to the problem of indeperdence of Ukraine, functioning of the national idea and the role of the Ukrainian language in the societu. Also attention is giver to the original and individual style of the publicist and his creative evolution.
