Essay

The comprehensive analysis of ethnical, language, cultural self-identification of Bulgarian young students in their ethnic group's place of compact residence in the South-Western Ukraine has been made. The author formulated an original concept of the interrelation between objective signs and subjective elements that lies in the determinism of this interrelation by the level and type of ethnic group's involvement in transformational processes has been defined. The survey results of the high school senior class Bulgarian students have been analyzed. Distinctive features and tendency of their ethnical, language, cultural self-identification development and interrelation between self-assessment findings of ethno-cultural objective features and self-identification have been identified. Self-identification stability and threshold stability levels have been defined and theoretically proved. To provide forecast in terms of ethnopolitical science, groups of young students with different stability levels of ethno-cultural self-identification have been identified. Distinctive features of ethno-cultural self-identification of ethnic group with low ethnical status which takes place within political competition of two high-status ethno-cultural identities have been determined. The recommendations on moving state policy of low ethnical status ethnic group's integration to the Ukrainian political nation and overcoming bipolar ethno-cultural self-organization of Ukrainian society have been developed.
