Usova N. Phonetic Means of Onyms Expressiveness in the Sound Substance of Poetic Texts.

The dissertation focuses on implicit characteristics of phonetic and graphic aspect of onyms and the ways of their explication. It is concerned with the integration mechanisms of poetonym phonetic constituent on different levels of the poetic context. An attempt has been made to systematize poetonyms from the point of view of the sounding. General linguistic determined principles of the structural organization interaction of onyms in English, German, Russian and Ukrainian poems have been established for the first time. The complex poetonym sounding analysis in the phonetic system of a poem has been made, on the basis of the composition and image specificity of a poetic work as a whole. It has revealed that the onym sound form is significant in the appearance of the sound-and-meaning relations in the poetic text.
