Essay

The research object - Moon. The main goal of research is to develop new and to improve existing modelling methods of topography, internal structure and internal gravity field of ellipsoidal planets. The research methods - least squares collocation, relations between stokes constants and density power moments, the integrating of 3-D density models. Scientific novelty following from: using of new analytic covariation functions for relief modelling, improvement of density modelling algorithm for ellipsoidal planets, development of 3-D interior potential modelling for ellipsoidal planets. Results - as a result of modelling the following models were constructed: Moon topography, 3-D density Moon distribution, 3-D Moon potential distribution. The results of research is planned to use for Ukraine DEM models construction, for creating Ukraine interior models of density and potential for mineral explorations. The results have to be used in geodesy.
