The object of researches - Toxicological and hygiene-sanitary characteristics of furadan. The purpose - to study toxicological and hygiene-sanitary characteristics of furadan (carbofuran). Methods of research - clinical, toxicological, chemical-analytical, biochemical, hematological, pathological and statistical. Theoretical and practical results: method of determination of carbofuran (furadan) in feeds and animal products (meat, internal organs, milk, fat, eggs) by the thin layer chromatography were developed. The aspects of toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics by furadan in animals and objects of environmental which take for maximum residue levels and diagnostic practice. Scientific novelty - a new method of determination residues of carbofuran (furadan) in feeds and animal products (meat, internal organs, milk, fat, eggs) were developed which is harmonized with ISO 17025 and "EC 657/2002". Actuality of this development is confirmed by the patent of Ukraine on the invention. Degree of implantation: method of determination of carbofuran (furadan) in feeds and animal products was validated in Central vetmedicine laboratory and approved by State department of veterinary medicine of Agricultural policy ministry of Ukraine (N 53, 30th June, 2005).
