Kushniruk N. Technical Basing of Garnetcontaining Shale Magnetic and Electrostatic parameters.

The determined substance composition and structural peculiarities of garnetcontaining shalls have conditioned expediency of use of magnetic and electrostatic methods for minerals separation. Some causes negatively influencing the process of magnetic separation have been discovered and technical solutions for their elimination developed in the thesis. Dependences of distributing of minerals in the fan of unloading of products from speed of rotation of drum, force of the magnetic field are set, that allowed to get the high-quality concentrates of a different grade with maintenance of pomegranate more than 98 %. To which is delivered the set features of electrostatic separation of garnetconcentrates minerals charging and conduct of particles into the working area of separator. They allow defining the sizes of charge device, at the set efficiency of charging. The improved technology having been used, garnet concentrates of various grade groups (98,0-99,4% of garnet content) were received. Introduction of updated technology will result in 3,176,16 thnd UAH economic effect.
