Hemoglobin oxygen binding and erythrocyte morphometrycal parameters in fish from hypoxic regions of Black Sea were studied in experimental hypoxia conditions. It was shown that the blood of resistant to hypoxia fishes has both a high oxygen affinity and higher sensitivity to pH. This quality becomes more expressive under experimental hypoxia conditions. Polymorphism hemoglobin of resistant to hypoxia fish was investigated by PAAG electrophoresis method. The hemoglobin component (fraction) having high oxygen affinity and expressive Bohr and Root effects simultaneously was marked for the first time. It was shown that this component content in blood increased significantly in low oxygen ambient. It has effects on blood oxygen binding properties. It was marked that fish hemoglobin was able to oxidize under nature process of blood oxygenation and hypothermic conditions. This time erythrocyte resistance to osmotic shock decrease. Increase of erythrocyte nuclear volume and nuclear-cytoplasm index was described for the first time in mature fish erythrocyte under external low oxygen conditions.
