Essay

The object of investigation is speech and motor activity of children with general underdevelopment of speech. The purpose of research is to ground theorttically and approve experimentally a method of forming movement coordination as a way of correction of speech disturbances of children of older preschool age. The methods of investigation are theoretical, empirical and statistical. Theoretical results and novelty - the scale of evaluation of coordination abilities of children of older preschool age was first scientifically grounded and approved experimentally; the level of development of coordinating abilities of children of older preschool age was determiped; development of speesh and motor activity was correlated; possibilities of effective correction of speesh development of children of older preschool age with general underdevelopment of speech were specified owing to systematical use of means of development of their coordination abilities. Practical results - system of special exercises and gameswhich effect positively speech development and its defects correction was worked out and approved experimentally. The degree of application is high. The field of application is pedagogical, special preschool educational establishments, higher establishments of pedagogical education.
