The thesis deals with questions of historical - pedagogical aspects of formation of physical education of the Slobojanchshina grammar-school pupils of physical education in the second half of XIX th - beginning of XX th centuries. The effort to completely analyze of physical education in those grammar schools under the period of research was made; revealed are the main stages of introduction of different form of physical education into the school and post-school practice; revealed here are the beaters of organizations and contents of physical education; analyzed are the conditions of realization of aims of physical education (personnel, scientific - methodic, provision of engineering, financial and medicine resources ) Analyzed is official policy in the field of physical education of pupils in Ukraine
