Melnyk A. The methods of operational correction and updating of geospatial model of terrain in military geoinformational system

The thesis is dedicated to development of theory and practice of raising operativeness of creation, correction and updating of geospatial information. The work provides methods of operational correction and updating of geospatial terrain model in military geospatial system. The peculiarity of the proposed method is its ability to simultaneously use combined semitransparent images of a digital working map of the region, a transformed space image and a scanned production print to apply changes to cameral decoding map, select points of field instrumental accuracy check of the sheet of the updated topographic map under the criterion of a minimum added square of non-transparent zones through creation of a tri-dimensional terrain model and use of an algorithm of automated determination of most changing areas through joint development of two bit-mapped images of the corresponding area, received in various moments after remote probing of surface. Developed are new types of geospatial documents on the basis ofconducted research of operational correction and updating the geospatial terrain model.
