Babushkina R. Agro-ameliorative efficiensy of applying calcium-containing ameliorants to the irrigated black soils of Southern Ukraine.

Object - processes of fertility and productivity indices changing of southern black-soils depending on application of calcium containing ameliorants. Aim - refinement of the existing ways of restoration of southern black-soils fertility by means of local limestone raw material as an ameliorant in the zone of Kakhovka amelioration system. Methods: field, laboratory, mathematical and statistical, calculation statistical. Results: 1) theory - agro-ameliorative efficiency of calcium containing ameliorants application on irrigated southern black-soils is grounded; 2) practice - recommendations for practical application of the local limestone raw material as an ameliorant by the way of ameliorative background formation in the irrigation salonetrized soils are developed; it is favourable for increasing soil fertility and crop yields heightening.
