The object - professional training of specialists in social pedagogy. The aim – to define, scientifically approve and experimentally test the efficiency of the structural and functional model of training of specialists in social pedagogy for professional activity with application of electronic teaching means. The methods - theoretical, empiric, diagnostic, statistic. The theoretical results and novelty – it is the first time that the essence of concepts „electronic teaching means in professional training of specialists in social pedagogy” „electronic textbook in professional training of specialists in social pedagogy” has been defined; the essence and structure of the concepts of “virtual teaching means”, “preparedness of specialists in social pedagogy for professional activity” specified; the criteria, indices and levels of preparedness of specialists in social pedagogy for professional activity with application of electronic teaching means defined; the structural and functional model of training ofspecialists in social pedagogy with application of electronic teaching means developed and scientifically approved; the method of professional training of specialists in social pedagogy got subsequent development.
